#Sophia Kiortsis serves as one of the teachers in the San Diego Greek Language School and will be attending the University of San Diego to pursue her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is passionate about working with students of all ages, having recently graduated from Wake Forest University with a major in communications and minor in elementary education and psychology. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at local schools, using her polyglot skills to help students succeed.
Additionally, Greek culture is very important to her and she believes learning the language is crucial to better understanding the culture, as she lived there for five years and often speaks Greek at home with her family.
She cannot wait to join this community and begin this new chapter of her life in San Diego!”
