Nektarios Tradas

Having been born in the late 1960s on the island of Crete, Nektarios grew up and graduated from High School in Athens, Greece. He moved to San Diego, CA in 1986, where he has lived since. He studied Music, Telecommunications, Visual Arts, Computer Science, and Sound Recording, at SDCC, SDSU, and private schools. Since the early 90’s, he has been working professionally in these fields and disciplines.

Nektarios has served on the board of the Hellenic Cultural Society and the Saint Spyridon Parish council. He has been on the San Diego Greek Festival Steering Committee for over two decades and has been teaching adult classes at the San Diego Greek School since 2017, producing and sharing teaching materials with the school. He has been using his talents and experience in his field for the growth of his Greek Orthodox community for over 25 years to date. He produces media and publications such as the community newsletter, materials for the Greek Festival, Philoptochos & Festival websites, and much more. He has also produced branding, marketing, media, and event materials for the Metropolis of San Francisco and the National Philoptochos.

His wife Christine is also very involved in the Saint Spyridon Church and community.
