Dr. Eleni Sinopoulou serves as the Director of the San Diego Greek Language School and is a faculty member in Neuroscience at UC San Diego, where she has spent many years mentoring students and collaborating with educators and academic teams.
She is also the founder of REAL Science, a nonprofit mentoring platform dedicated to supporting young scholars, teachers, and aspiring scientists. Her extensive experience in education, program development, and community mentorship deeply shapes her leadership of the Greek school. Dr. Sinopoulou is currently completing her Diadromés certificate in Teaching Greek as a Second/Foreign Language, further strengthening her commitment to high‑quality Greek language instruction.
Above all, she considers the San Diego Greek Language School one of her greatest loves—a place where she can help nurture the next generation’s connection to the Greek language, culture, and identity.
